I’ve been using this very tip from you for quite a while (combined into one script) since our flagging 2003 needs to restart in the early hours daily (long story…)

However, today the emails where down in the morning and when I checked the script mysteriously was no longer working.

I added ‘pause’ to the end of the script and saw the errors where all like this:
::
net stop “Microsoft Exchange Information Store” /y
System error 2 has occurred

the system cannot find the file specified.
::

I don’t suppose you have any idea why that might be?

You sure you’ve set it up as IMAP? Sounds like you’re using POP if things aren’t syncing.
